Graduating this year? Summer Consultants, Inc. has a lot to offer new engineering graduates interested in the building industry. We have been providing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design services to the Metropolitan D.C. area since 1963. We specialize in the repair and rehabilitation of historic and institutional facilities. Past projects include work at the U.S. Capitol, White House, National Cathedral, and Washington Monument. Because we limit our work to renovations, you will not find "boiler plate" projects here.

At Summer, junior engineers begin design work immediately and work with various engineers to ensure a balanced education. Training sessions are offered weekly and are taught by both our own engineers and outside professionals. We strive to make well-rounded consulting engineers with the knowledge of more than just mechanical and electrical systems.

Salaries are competive with other firms in this area. Our benefits package is excellent. Candidates should be able to obtain a security clearance.
