Andres is an aspiring engineer with a strong foundation in mechanical engineering and a passion for innovative design.  He became interested in mechanical engineering after reading and watching the movie “The Martian,” and has since found his favorite part about engineering is working through problems he didn’t understand before.  With a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth, he is working to expand his skills and knowledge of building information modeling and energy systems. Andres is driven to contribute creative solutions and learn more about sustainable practices in the engineering field.

What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?

I enjoy urban exploration, games, hiking, cooking, reading, and trying new things. I’ve gone skydiving and caving before. I also occasionally donate blood at the American Red Cross center.
