The Bob Barker Company facility is a 240,000 SF manufacturing, office and warehouse building headquartered in Fuquay Varina, NC. Summer Consultants redesigned the facility’s alarm system because the original modification design did not meet NFPA 72 requirements.

New notification and initiating devices replaced the existing devices in the warehouse and manufacturing areas. New devices were also provided in the construction of a new addition. Because new conduit for cabling would be cost prohibitive, existing conduits and backboxes were utilized. The fire pump and existing flow and tamper switches were connected to the fire alarm system via monitor modules.
