The indoor firearms training center in Frederick, Maryland, is a fit out of existing undeveloped space into a new firing range facility. The design for the new training facility includes offices, class and conference rooms, an observatory, storage, firearms cleaning, and restroom and shower facilities.
Summer Consultants designed a rooftop-mounted HVAC system with HEPA filtration, sound attenuation and direct digital controls; LED fixture interior lighting; fire alarm and power distribution; and domestic water, gas distribution and sanitary drainage piping as well as installation of a high efficiency gas-fired water heater.
