Summer Consultants designed the systems for two new restroom facilities and two combination concession and restroom facilities at a multi-sport recreational complex. The combination unit also included umpire rooms, IT closets, storage spaces, and covered seating areas. One unit also includes a second story observation room with views of multiple playing fields.
HVAC systems included electric heaters for the restrooms, heat pumps for concession areas and observation room, and split system units to serve the umpire rooms and IT closets. Hot water was provided by new electric hot water heaters, pumps and piping. An in-ground gravity grease interceptor was provided for the concession facilities.
Electrical distribution to each facility included switchboards and panelboards. Additional electrical features included LED lighting, and telecommunications fiber cabling for exterior audio/visual and security cameras. Integral hood fire suppression systems were provided for the concession areas and integrated with new fire alarm annunciator panels for monitoring.
