Lauren Dewhurst, SPHR, SHRM-SCP

Lauren has over 10 years of HR experience in the construction and engineering consulting industry delivering HR initiatives that resonate with organizational values and goals.  She is skilled in collaborating with senior leadership to develop high-level priorities and drive operational objectives.  With a track record of developing strategic plans and building buy-in from high performing teams to pursue collective goals, Lauren is committed to learning, continuous improvement and contributing to success.

She has spent a career surrounded by engineers and has always appreciated the ways in which their perspectives and approaches to problem-solving have enhanced her own approach.  Lauren holds the professional certifications of SPHR and SHRM-SCP and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She majored in History which, for her, boiled down to a love of analytical writing and a knack for dissecting non-fiction.

What is something interesting about you?

I live with my husband, 2 kids, in-laws, and 2 dogs in a multigeneration house. I am originally from New Jersey, but no longer have an accent and will not tell you which exit. I am a lover of racquet sports, walking my dogs, and excessive researching as a form of procrastination.
